Navigating Emotions with You & Your Kids
Que Canoe is an author dedicated to creating fun, inclusive stories that help children navigate their emotions with empathy and understanding. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent individual living with autism and ADHD, Que draws on personal experiences to craft narratives that not only celebrate emotional intelligence but also normalize neurodivergence. Their goal is to empower children to embrace their own feelings and recognize the feelings of others, fostering a world of compassion and self-expression.
At the heart of Que’s work is a deep commitment to emotional safety, self-acceptance, and the power of empathy. Through their stories, Que aims to provide children, teachers, and parents with the tools to explore social-emotional learning, creating an environment where everyone can thrive. Their hope is to raise awareness around neurodivergent and queer experiences, breaking down mental health stigmas and promoting the understanding that differences make us stronger.
With each story and resource, Que’s mission is clear: to prevent the suffering they endured growing up by giving children the tools to understand themselves and others in a way that fosters compassion, acceptance, and a sense of belonging for all.
